Solstice & Equinox Mini Update

I've decided to start showing mini updates as it can take me a long time to finish a page on a chart. I now have a whole dragon head! I'm at the halfway point of page 2 and I'm starting to see the second wing! It's a shame the sparklies don't show up aswell on camera. I'm really enjoying stitching this one so far. I'm thinking I'll stick with it until I've finished page 3 before I go back to QS Siberian Forest. I might aswell since I am on a roll =)

Current WIP's

Realised I haven't shown my other two WIP's in a good while. I haven't made a lot of progress to be honest! QS Siberian Forest I've completed the first page. Soltice and Equinox I'm now working on the second page and will show another update soon. I'm stitching the sparklies with Kreinik Blending Filament 032 two over one as I like the effect it gives. It's surprisingly easy to work with when you have thread heaven to hand!

Finished my first BAP page and very happy with how this is turning out =)

Solstice & Equinox Started!

Finally started it! I managed approx 1380 stitches as part of the SAL. Not nearly as much as I would have liked but still proud. It's been a pleasure to stitch on so far, even the sparklies.



Next pic I post of this will be a page finish. Might take a while as I'm rotating with SK Sunny weekly.

New Start!

I've finally started Solstice and Equinox! I'm so excited. I'm stitching it for my boyfriend Chris so it is a labour of love =). It has 136800 stitches in it and I am stitching it on 25 ct Magic Guide evenweave 1 over 1. I will post an update picture at the end of next week but don't think I will have a page done yet. Here is a pic of what it should look like when finished;
